Annual Campus Crime and Fire Safety Reports
In compliance with federal law, Central Oregon Community College Campus Public Safety prepares an annual report on campus security and fire safety programs and services.
This report is prepared with data and information provided by Campus Public Safety, the Office of the Dean of Students, Environmental Health and Safety, the Title IX Coordinator, campus security authorities and various law enforcement agencies that provide services to Central Oregon Community College properties within their jurisdictions.
The report includes crime statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on Clery geography, to include on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Central Oregon Community College; and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. Fire statistics for the previous three calendar years are included.
The report also provides information regarding campus security and safety, for example, prevention and response to sexual assault and other serious crimes, crime prevention and security awareness information, crime reporting procedures, substance abuse prevention and education, campus and community services and resources for employees and students who are victims of crime, fire safety and emergency and evacuation procedures, as well as other matters of importance to the campus community.
Campus Daily Crime Logs
In accordance with the 1998 Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, an electronic version of the Daily Crime Log is made available, in hard-copy format, to walk-in customers in the front lobby area of the Central Oregon Community College Campus Public Safety Office (located in the Boyle Education Center Office #161).
The Daily Crime Log contains all crimes reported to Campus Public Safety within the last year. The crime log is updated daily (except for holidays).
